The mountain ranges have peaks as high as 13000ft and form v shaped valleys with rivers and streams that give way to spectacular water falls. Amboseli National ParkAmboseli national park is situated at the Kenya/Tanzania border. The park offers a clear view of Africa's highest free standing mountain-The Kilimanjaro. The park has a notable concentration of elephants (approximately 900)L.Nakuru National ParkLake Nakuru National Park Lies 155kms North West of Nairobi. The lake has become world famous for it's massive flocks of Flamingo which gather here to feed on the algae which thrives in the lakes alkaline waters. Masai MaraMasai Mara is perhaps Kenya's most visited park. The park has a heavy concentration of wildlife all the year round and is home of what has come to be considered the world's greatest wildlife spectacle Mount Kenya National ParkMount Kenya National Park lies approx 140 km north - east of Nairobi, its main dominating landscape feature is Mount Kenya an extinct volcano Tsavo East Natonal ParkTsavo East and Tsavo West combine to form the largest of all the National Parks and Game reserves. Tsavo East is known for its red soil which gives the elephants here the appearance of being red Tsavo West National ParkTsavo West National Park is separated only by the Mombasa/Nairobi road from Tsavo East, and is part of the entire Tsavo eco-system.
